I have no good giveaway ideas, besides a perhaps fruitless meditation app subscription--however, I was once gifted a few pairs of colourful socks for my birthday, from a friend (not my mom), and I laughed at the idea; but, as the days went by, I noticed myself re-engaging with this gift, and my laughter, as each day, I put on a new pair. 100 percent agree that there certainly is a tolerance far higher to the criticisms from our inner voices. Years ago, I was driving to the store and I was on the freeway in the left lane and was not paying attention until it was too late. I was just about to my exit and there was traffic in the right lane preventing me from getting over to get off at my exit. As I drove by, I sighed under my breath and called myself an "F-ing moron" for missing my exit. A moment later, I asked why I was a moron. Because I missed my exit and I have to drive like 1 mile down the freeway to take the next exit? That hardly seems to that level of criticism. I certainly would get very offended if there was someone else in my passenger seat who called me that for missing my exit. You wouldn't put up with that kind of negativity from someone else, why should you accept it from your inner voice? Be better to yourself.

You mention you lose weight by exhaling, I have the opposite problem and want to put weight on. Do you have any tips on that by any chance? I do feel like there’s more of a spiritual reason I’m not able to put weight on!

I mean that fat is converted to carbon dioxide and water! So we actually end up breathing it out and release it as sweat or pee 😆 not sure about putting on weight though, it almost seems like putting it on is so much harder than releasing it. I know a lot of people who have struggled with this and it seems like different things have worked for all of them so it’s definitely not one size fits all. If you feel like you have internal things going on I definitely suggest sitting with yourself to get to the root cause of what is troubling or bothering you! Meditation and then talking about it in therapy or with a nutritionist for the physical side! I do know that for my friends who have wanted to gain weight they started lifting heavy weights! 3 times a week is all that’s needed to maintain muscle 🥳 and upping their protein to their weight! (So like 1 gram of protein per pound) has seemed to work for them!
