前回動画で紹介した上羽絵惣の顔彩(水彩絵の具)セットで絵を描いてみました！
暖色系を使った作品としてポピー、寒色系の作品としてチューリップを描きます。
パート１ではスケッチとポピーの完成までを収録しています。
パート２ではチューリップを描きます。
実際には存在しない青いチューリップを咲かせてみたのでよかったら最後まで動画をお楽しみくださいね🌷

Beautiful painting, as always! Loved watching the techniques for making variations of color within the flowers. My eldest (just shy of 3 years old) was headed to bed and demanded to "see cooking", but when he saw this in my queue, he demanded "see color" instead! Are those from Gansai? I just love all those Japanese watercolors! I wish it were easier and cheaper to get in the US. Especially Holbein watercolors which I hear are really cheap in Japan but to buy in the US is astronomically expensive.

Uh, do you use blow dryer to dry the paint or just wait for it to dry?😅

I'd assume they air-dry it, since a blow dryer or heat gun would mess with the colors and move the paint around

I use cold press watercolor paper😊 Especially if you want to paint delicately, that's the way to go.

@@kaitekiart7666 the detail you achieve with the watercolors is truly amazing. Those tulips look so real! I can see that the quality of the pigments, along with your choice of cold press watercolor paper, really makes a difference in how you get the color to go where you want it to, and not go where you don’t. Clearly this paint set is *highly* pigmented, so just a touch of the paintbrush leaves the paint just where you want it. I also loved seeing your process of removing some of the pigment as well, with just the brush, or the brush in a little water. Magical!

I regularly practice drawing without drafts. This practice includes drawing glass pen illustrations, and kimono patterns using only a brush. Doing so improves my concentration and ability to draw the right lines😊
