"I'm not sleeping, I'm just blinking real slow" Ngl that was me this morning, I usually fall asleep around 12 AM (My mom tends to get me and my sister up at random times ranging from 10 AM to 12 PM so I like to make sure that the time I pick will allow for me to have at least a full 8 hours of sleep regardless what time she gets us up) but I didn't get to sleep till 5 AM cause I got Covid last year at the beginning of December and I had it till the start of January this year but Covid left me with the unfortunate side effect of having both insomnia and broken sleep (if you don't know what broken sleep is, its basically where you're asleep for a bit then you wake up and you stay awake for a bit then you fall asleep again and that just keeps happening over and over again until morning. The time for how long you sleep/how long your awake can range from mere minutes to a few hours, for me I fall asleep for 30-40 minutes then I wake up and stay awake for 20 minutes then I fall back to sleep and the patter just repeats it's self)
