I would really really love if you would consider doing a face/camera brushing video with rambling. I love your voice, so relaxing. And face brushing is by far my #1 visual trigger, always rocks me right out, so that would be perfect!

There’s a part in this video that reminds me a lot of the Flemish (Dutch) we speak. “Rieken” is a dialect word used in Flanders for “ruiken” which also means “smelling”. You gotta love Scottish😂

im really starting to love your channel( also because youve been dealing with dp as well, which makes it even more personal lol) Do you consider making like a 1-2 hour video? I need something to fall asleep to :D
@ASMRMuzz7 жыл бұрын
Sounds great! But 1-2 hours might be a bit much for me at the moment, I can barely squeeze a 20 minute vid without noise in my house lol. I did do a 1 hour live stream a few weeks ago, not really ASMR of course, but maybe I can do something like that again. I hope your DP is improving! :-)
@barschben7 жыл бұрын
okay^^ye live stream is also cool, its like asmr for me. Ive been very hyperaware which makes my derealization very intense and exhausting.But ive been at an acceptable level with it before.Ill get there eventually :)

How do you tell the difference between how to mean "how" and to mean "why"? Is it ever ambiguous or is it clear from context or intonation? I've occasionally been confused by it listening to Scottish people (I'm English).
@ASMRMuzz6 жыл бұрын
Really good question. I think 'how' replaces 'why' in most cases but it might be more selective. Ill need to check.
@ChavvyCommunist6 жыл бұрын
I've realised a commonality. All the times I've heard it (I'm not Scottish though as I said) seem to be just either "How?" or "How no?" in response to something else. Is that the main determining factor or can it be used to mean "why" in other situations?

Ich kenne Dich means I know you in german. Knowledge though is Wissen in german, while Kennen is knowing as in recognizing which is er-kennen. But in the middle ages it was probably used nearly interchangable.

It just took me by surprise is all, clicking on your vid expecting to hear Scottish words & phrases, but the first thing I heard was “Kia Ora”. Alas, I went through your other vids and learned that you spent 12 years here, so it’s all good.
@ASMRMuzz4 жыл бұрын
@@1CoolKidCandid yeah not a lot of Scottish Kiwis out there, so it must seem pretty unusual!
@1CoolKidCandid4 жыл бұрын
Actually, you’d be surprised. I’m not aware of wherebouts you lived in NZ for those 12 years, but if you go to Southland & Otago provinces (at the bottom of the South Island) that entire area was colonised by Scottish settlers in 1850-1900s. For example: Dunedin was designed by surveyors to mimic the city of Edinburgh, and also its name is from the Scottish Gaelic for Edinburgh: ‘Dùn Èideann’. So a Scottish-Kiwi combo isn’t totally out of the question-if you ever hung around that area, you might have people believe that you were NZ born.
