I got my annual last month 👀 But tomorrow I'll be getting an ultrasound (abdominal, transvaginal) and I'm a bit nervous with how bad the situation will be due to endo 🥲 Also getting an MRI in 2 weeks (abdominal, pelvic) and I'm even more worried about that... It's frightening, I'm in so much pain I can't even function well recently 😔 Hopefully I'll get surgery soon Thank you so much for your amazing videos Leanna! Hope you are doing well, take care 💖

The ultrasound is something to where they will be using a probe to place onto the skin to get the images they need. It may be uncomfortable, as they will have to press down a little bit, but not too hard. The MRI might feel a bit claustrophobic, but don't worry, it doesn't hurt. Just make sure you don't have any metal on you. They may place something around your abdomen to get better images. They may even give you IV contrast to get images that are more clear. During the MRI, you will have to remain still, otherwise the images will be blurry. It will also be very loud, but they will give you something to help reduce the noise. If you have any more questions, feel free to contact your clinic. Unfortunately, I do not know more about radiology than that.

​@@christinagoodefriends142i also never recieved anything for the noise. It wasnt that loud. It was low enough to hear the machine tell me when to hold my breath and breath. Maybe my hospital has a newer machine🤷‍♀️

A patient can’t do their own Pap smear- this is because the cervix HAS TO BE SEEN in order for the cervical cells to be collected and tested for cancer
