Ohh yes, I remember getting my feet measured as well that way! I also got tingly feelings, it was so nice and indeed comforting for some reason. Didn't realize it at the time, but now you've mentioned it I get instant flashbacks. I remember feeling sad when it wasn't necessary to do that anymore haha, I had outgrown it. Emma, one of my childhood friends recently passed away in her sleep at the age of 25. I’m so sad, anxious, scared, and afraid to sleep (is that strange?). It’s so horrible. The surprise of it is similar to when my mama’s friend passed suddenly at the age of 50 due to complications of breast cancer 5 years ago. I feel like I’m experiencing a little bit of PTSD (is that even possible?). I feel like I had an anxiety attack today. You see in June I had a horrible anxiety spiral, and I DO NOT want my anxiety to spiral again. I was doing so good. I love you so very much. ❤️😢

Coming back to this video today. Thank you Emma. I too have happy and tingly memories of Clarks or startrite. And remember there was a tape measuring thing that they did. They sort of pulled it over the top of your foot. Perhaps to measure the width of your foot? And then I used to get up in the middle of the night to put my new school on. The smell of the new leather. Memories! X

💜 Hello my lovely sweet Emma 💜 I hope you’re doing well. It’s another warm day here today, very mild for this time of the year, 80°F (about 26°C). I’m probably going to start pulling stuff out of my garden this week before it gets cold again, get it ready for next year however I’m doing mostly flowers, herbs and some berries next year. Wonderful video, Emma. I’m several hours late watching this, but man was it worth the wait. I personally don’t wear any fancy high heeled shoes (I don’t have the balance for heels at all 😂) but I still enjoyed seeing all of the different styles of shoes very much. Everything sounded wonderful in this. I especially enjoyed the gold studs, shoe tapping and gentle fabric sounds in this, so thank you for including all of those. Lovely video as always.
