I have read all the Harry Potter books 5 times. I just couldn’t get enough of them. I read them for the first time when I was 22(sad right). I’ve always been an avid reader since I was a little girl. I absolutely adore to read a good book. I’m so happy I found your channel. Really enjoyed this!

My son learnt to read at 5 years old and fell in love with Harry Potter. He has read the series and all of the David Walliams books. He loves nothing more than escaping into something magical. He is now 7.5 and I couldn’t be prouder. Such a relaxing video- thank you x

I use to hate reading when I was younger because my teacher would force me to read a book once a week so then I stoped after then 3 years later I read the mortal instruments then I fell in love with reading Ya and fantasy novels and books

‘Then she was gone’ sounds so interesting. I know what you mean when you say reading is like playing a movie in your head. I say that all the time too. Non readers never understand ha. I read ‘Life as we knew it’ years ago and it hasn’t got out of my head since. Not good to read during a pandemic 😄

Omg yes! I was able to finish it but it definitely gave me some anxiety, especially because I bought the book right before the pandemic/shut downs were implemented where I live 😅 I did enjoy the series though!

I just started the video, so I am not sure if this is in the pile or not but, if you like fantasy and stuff like harry potter you should read (if you havent already, or read it again bc they are really good lol) the Six of crows duology and the shadow and bone trilogy, etc. They are by Leigh Bardugo and I personally loved them!

choose a book that you would be really really interested in! Don’t let yourself think reading is a chore so you don’t procrastinate and only read when you feel like it. If the book is super good, then you’ll never want to put it down ahah

I agree with Kylie! Try and find something that interests you. Maybe shorter books would be easier to start off with? Short stories are some of my personal favorites and they’re usually quick reads.

I like your asmr videos! But from hearing about your mom forcing you to read, and your need to read compulsively, from my own experience. It sounds like your mom hurt you a lot, and put a depedncy into you. That you're not whole unless you read, and so when you actually try and read for yourself it becomes a dependency like a drug. This has been my experience with many different people degrading me, telling me I need something when in fact I don't need anything and I'd like some personal space and respect to find myself, and what I like. This has been my experience but it may not be yours. If you want to talk about it I'd be more than happy. ~Daniel
