@@Baker_-fm2gk older windows can't/don't have "dual pane windows" its common now but wasn't a thing until the mid-late 90s. Before it was commonly a single pane window because it was inexpensive when building houses.

I remember I had to get one of these to judge the severity of my food allergies. Safe to say, this is going to itch quite a bit less. Kudos to you, SRP, and kudos to Dr. Inderpal Randhawa, TPIRC, and the SoCal Food Allergy Institute for finally finding an effective way of putting food allergies and environmental allergies into remission!!

The program is somewhat new and uses machine learning and data driven immunotherapy; the best part about that is that the program takes no risks with its patients. I like to advocate for the program when I can because it’s already changed my life by allowing me to eat dairy, eggs, and a wide variety of nuts which I used to be anaphylactic to. If anyone has food allergies or is even interested, please give the program some attention. They are planning to expand their business; they just opened a new location in San Diego and they’ll possibly open an East Coast location next. Food allergies in our population are showing up faster than our population is growing. It is likely due to environmental factors since it can not be contagious but research is still being done. If you don’t think it is an issue now, it will be. For those interested in enrolling in the Food Allergy Institute, keep in mind that they only take people under a certain age, there is a waitlist, and that the program can take a while - the program will personally have taken 5 years when I’m done - that being said, the program is so incredible for so many families.

Is this how they do these outside the us? I have had three done to start and continue doing allergy shots. Each time they have done them on my back and it is usually a small shot under the skin. Is this a smaller version done in the uk and then you have the back one done? Either way it is interesting.

Im a healthcare student in the UK who watched this being done and yeah. If I remember right they use 2 drops (one for controlled) and I think gently prick into skin. Also seen it for nuts and kids were offered cookies every 15 mins (gradual increase in size) but nut allergies

As someone in nhs: Best bet is gp and ask gor an allergy test, feeling they'll do it in outpatients but I work paeds. Just explain to gp (providing you're willing to wait 20 years for a gp appointment even by phone)
