Maybe this is a little too much info for the internet, but I never had any parents and growing up, sleeping was very hard for me because I never felt safe, comfortable or remotely calm. This is AMAZING!! I grew up sharing a room with my handicapped sister who required around-the-clock nursing, which meant I always fell asleep with a nurse at the foot of my bed. She'd be filling out paperwork or preparing medications throughout the night, and sometimes she'd whisper to my sister when it was time to turn over, so this reminds me exactly of that!! I've been reading all of these comments about everyone's different experiences growing up and almost feel guilty knowing I've been really lucky to have the parents I have. They're not perfect, but no one is really, and they love me and care about me. My mom was physically there growing up but not emotionally- she had a lot of traumatic stuff happen and couldn't be there for me so I didnt really get to experience a mother's love or tenderness like this as a child. She was very distant and she'd turn me away whenever I'd seek comfort from her and my dad didn't really believe in any emotional comfort. Now that I know what happened to her, I dont blame her but it's nice to experience this even if its through a screen. Its very comforting and I wish KZbin had been around when I was a kid but at least I have it now. Thank you.

I keep coming back to this video, it's so soothing. My mum usually didn't do stuff in my room while I was going to sleep but this does remind me of when I would stay with my grandparents, and my grandma would sing random little bits of songs and lullabies to me, gently tapping the bed covers sometimes. As a survivor of childhood abuse and trauma, and as someone who is making sure to heal and overcome, I know that one day I’ll be a great mama, even though my own bio mom never wanted me or was nurturing towards me. These types of videos bring peace and sometimes a level of sadness-just grieving what I never had. But you’re so kind and sweet, and this video really helps me relax and breathe. Not to bring anyone down, but this reminds me of my late mother Who soft words would sing myself to sleep as a child and more recently her grandson as I would peep in through the gap in the door when she was tucking him into bed gently rubbing his arms with the very same nails that caused Goose bumps to run down my side as a child. She gave both me and him the gift of meridian response I truly believe .... This brought tears to my eyes as it made me remember the love only a mother can show... Thanks for all you do! God bless

14 years old. My mother used to do things like this when I was a little child, but lately I feel like she’s changing, always loud and screaming whenever she can. My mother is getting older and her condition gets worse day by day. Thank you Emma for this comforting feeling to fill the gaps. My mother may not be abusive, but she threatens it. All I have to say is I know her childhood wasn’t that great either. She has divorced parents and a mother who was strict. I have a long way to go till I can move out. Everyday I must remind myself, She is still my mother.

I was on maternity leave at home with a newborn watching This Morning on very little sleep and feeling very run down... and you appeared. I watched your tucking in video while you were on my TV and it was just what I needed, it was so lovely to feel cared for when you’ve recently had a baby because you give all the time but get very little back. I’ll say this once here on YT, I would usually listen to ASMR from another woman but ever since I found this channel on my recommended, I honestly can ONLY fall deeply asleep just to this channel ☺️. I’m the type of person who can’t simply fall asleep on their own on most nights and especially since I completely sleep alone in my own bed (since starting now this month) but yet I miss the comfort of my mom laying next to me and Emma brings such a sweet and relaxing motherly vibe where I feel comfortable and safe. I’m about to fall asleep to this but I had to say, This reminds me of when my mom stayed near me when I was ill as a child. I had seizures whenever I slept from ages 7-14, and her being near me made me feel safe. I’ve been seizure free for 10 years now. Thank you Emma. Your voice and presence is so peaceful and is truly a gift greater than you know.
