We love you Sarah, with any mic, anytime, with your rock climber nails and all the other things that make you YOU! I actually find your squeaky chair kind of comforting. Makes it more like hanging out with someone in real life :) This was super interesting and relaxing to listen to. I’ve been watching your channel since the early days and it’s lovely to watch you evolve and grow, as a person and as a creator. I really resonated with what you said about hobbies vs work and keeping some things you love “for yourself” - going to ponder that some more, as I’m getting ready to launch my wellness coach business and begin a new phase of my work life. Your videos are always helpful to me Sarah, both to calm my anxiety, and also just to experience your warmth and uplifting attitude when I need a boost. Thank you for everything you do for us. Whether its ASMR, engineering, nonprofit work, art or anything else, you will always be a star at what you do! xo

Lol. The opposite situation happened to me. My grandma told me that I have Spanish (European) blood, but according to genetic tests I actually have 5% Native American genetics (from the southwestern area of North America). This makes sense though since I live in Arizona and my grandma was told her ancestors have been here for hundreds of years. Though, we know it's more like thousands of years based on archaeology.

I can recommend books by Per Jensen if you want to do some more research on dogs to help decide future adoption methods etc. I was lucky enough to have him as a professor at uni when I did courses on ehtology and the behavioural biology of dogs. Truly fascinating subjects and so rich in universally useful information! Jensen is one of the big names in the field, especially regarding dogs, and he writes both course literature and books for lay people. Entertaining and well written too, so not a tough read either. 😄 Only problem is that I don't know how many of his books are available in English.

Here in my Eastern Europe country, some of the stray dogs aren't spayed, so they give birth to little homeless puppies. My mom has rescued around 10 dogs already, both old and puppies and has managed to get in contact with adoption organisations and send them away to people that want them. Maybe there are such options in the US as well? Old dogs deserve love as well, but you are allowed to have your own preferences, and get to raise your pet the way you want to!

@MmeAdmin Жыл бұрын
For fear of heights, that's general a lack of oxygen to your head, thus causing you to panic a bit. Take some deep breaths and remind yourself what your protection is. I don't think you can really disregard our natural instinct to be cautious around edges but you can mitigate it. That I used to freak out as a kid, around 8.5 m high, now going up 25.0 m feels lovely while still having a healthy respect when you don't have protection and acknowledging the edge of something is right there. (An ice climber guide recommended setting up a personal anchor if you are going within a body length of the edge, within ~2.0m, thus slipping and falling isn't catastrophic but that can apply to nonicy conditions as well.) Just some food for thought.

Hi Sarah, thank you so much for your videos! You are without question my favourite ASMR artist, and I've recently subscribed to your Patreon. I just wanted to say congratulations on your level of Spanish! I emigrated to Spain just before Brexit, and my wife and I managed to find enough work to get our residency, but I am nowhere near reading Harry Potter! It's all those verb conjugations! I have just started reading Treasure Island in Spanish, so hopefully I'm improving. You're absolutely right that immersion is the best teacher, though classes have, of course, helped, too. I certainly need to watch more Spanish TV, I feel like that would be a great help. How did you find moving abroad? I found it such a mix of both excitement and trepidation. Anyway, thanks again, and good luck with both your channel and your language learning!
