The idea of soft-spoken singing was what first primed me for ASMR. My grandma used to sing to me when I couldn't sleep as a kid. I'd ask her ""just one more song!" She'd get visibly annoyed lol, but she'd still do it, because she was lovely. Years later I found ASMR and it gave me that same safe, warm tingly feeling, but I never came across the same singing style. I thought it just wouldn't be a thing. Last year, she passed away, on the other side of the country, during Covid. I tried to get all the paperwork exemptions and stuff, but that plus flight delays meant I never got to say goodbye. Thanks for letting me find that space again.

Lauren... You were there for me after a very serious acoustic trauma that left me disoriented for many years. My mental and physical health were on a rapid decline at one point. I’ve been listening to this video most nights to go to sleep as a replacement for unhealthy habits. This is one of the most effective relaxing measures I can take. Don’t change what you do. Just keep singing and scratching and kissing… I love it. My ex and I broke up just a little over two weeks ago. I live in New Zealand and while this was happening we were in a lockdown so that really messed with me as I was stuck with my Thoughts for awhile. I have to be honest and vulnerable here for a second. Listening to your soothing and beautiful singing made me start to cry. Twice. It was too long since i last cried and i had no idea how much i needed this and how much i had bottled up inside. This is the first night i was able to relax and just let go in soooo long. This helped me more than anything else i tried and i found this purely by chance. It was in my recommended and its the first of your asmr videos i experienced. So yeah i loved it and i hope you can somehow make more of it, because this is incredible 💙

I really appreciate you sharing this with us. It's funny to admit, but when you started singing it took me out for a second because it shocked me how close you sounded. For the first time, I felt like someone was actually there singing to me. Honestly, I cried a little. Gave me some warm memories of my childhood. It's been super tough for me this year and I had a terrible day. So, thank you very much for this. Gotta be one of the most comforting things I've experienced in a long time.

This is so pleasant and healing to listen to. I sometimes listen to a body meditation in which the person also sings in between and it makes me feel safe and comforted. This gives me the same feeling. Thank you.
