That was a real journey. You had to fight against the doubting body piercer to get what you wanted. It was like a test to see if you would stand up for yourself, and you passed. Life is constantly asking if we are really serious or if we are just playing and don't mean it. I suppose if everyone was always nice to us and there was never any pushback then things could get a little boring and our internal muscles wouldn't develop. I think it's the same way with happiness. If we were perfectly happy every day, then maybe we wouldn't appreciate it as much because there wouldn't be a contrast to compare it to. Kind of like how eating our favorite food every day would get tiresome and eventually we would want something else. Thanks for sharing your stories.

omg my body hates piercings it’s literally so annoying. belly button, infected. second lobes (first time) didn’t heal. second lobes (second time) giant bumps. like omg i’m such a piercing girl but i just cannot 😭

I feel this so harddddd!! We love them, but clearly our bodies don’t, which makes it such a difficult push and pull sometimes because the inconvenience can really get to you. 😩🧡

I got my ears pierced with a gun and it also embedded into one of my lobes and the other one got infected. I took them out and pierced them again with a needle last year, 15 years later
