I had mine out in 2012 and I was 26 weeks pregnant!!! you will be sore when done, but the first couple of days are the worst. I found upright in my comfy armchair propped with pillows worked the best for me, because I couldn't get myself to lay flat in bed. also - you may not be able to eat much after the procedure (anesthesia does that to you) so might want to have things like soup, pudding, applesauce, cereal on hand. I found those easiest to eat since I couldn't tolerate a big meal right away. good luck to you!

Wish you had been my nurse when I had my gallbladder out, I would have been so relaxed and reassured. Anyone anxious about it, don't be worried. I was terrified and it was over and done with before I knew it. I was fine afterwards, no problems. Great video Linda, thanks again for doing the best ASMR ever xxx

just me giving you a hard time :). when I had my surgery I had to cut off all liquids and food by midnight that night, and my procedure was at 8 or 9 in the morning. the only time that was different was when I had my C-section with my son because it was an emergency and had been in labor for several hours before then. I was being fed water and ice chips through all of that.

i think its quite a new thing that they give you water 2 hours before , i had a procedure about 6 years ago and it was nil by mouth from midnight , but over the past 3-4 years they always give you water to stop you from dehydrating :-) and my sweet friend you haven't gave me a hard time , i love your comments :-) have a wonderful day and as always i send my hugs and love xxxx

Please don't drink or eat less than 6 hours from surgery, you can aspirate (stomach contents going into your lungs)
