+Strawberry Electric: Nope. Been watching ASMR stuff since last year, for sure, and yeah, I've caught myself tapping stuff at the store. For instance, I have a thing for journals and other notebooks and school/office supplies, so I'm often in that section of Wal-Mart. Before I realize what I'm doing for sure, I've grabbed a notebook I'm thinking of buying and start tapping on it while I'm looking at other things. That's how I know I'm a full-on ASMR convert. And given my playlists, it would seem a great percentage of my favorite ASMRtists either speak Russian or have Russian accents, or speak other Slavic languages. Which is interesting to note since one of my top five favorite languages is French.

I could cry because I love Maria more than anything and she is undoubtedly my favourite asmrtist... but I can't get with these new mics, to me the close whispering sounds very harsh and almost scratchy, I feel the old mics accentuated the dimension of her beautiful voice whereas these dull it making it very one-dimensional, almost sounds like the 3-dio to me. I'd be interested to know if I am the only one that thinks this? Regardless I admire and am thankful for Maria's work ethic, she is a truly fantastic woman!

kayla her fabulous fabrics fantasy whispered video is one of my all time favourites - I am now realising that was 2 years ago! I know there is a lot of pressure on asmrtists now to have 'crisp' high def sounds... I guess I'm like those nostalgic people that can only listen to vinyls ha ha. iMissYouMjxx I feel the same. I'm in love with her but can't stand to watch the videos she's been making with the new mics for almost 2 years now. They are making her look boring, too. They force her to get glued to the camera, no creative role playing anymore. Just the usual tapping and playing with stuff. She has forgotton that an asmr experience is not only about the intentional sounds and that perhaps the best experience is to act normally and incorporate triggers as if it was unintentional

At the very end when you said "Goodnight" in Russian it sparked some nostalgia in me. My little sister was adopted from Ukraine 8 years ago and the rest of our family had to learn a little Russian before she could perfectly learn English. I don't remember much of it anymore, but hearing that not only reminded me, but gave me a look into the past 😊❤️
