Welcome to the channel Crochet & Crime (that's an intriguing idea for ASMR). I'm looking forward to checking out your channel. I'm a knitter in a family of crocheters, I don't know how you all do it.

I love those old boxes. Directly from the workbench of my grandpa.

I adore old graphics and packaging, I always scoop these up when I find them at estate sales. Humble little time capsules.

Yuppers! Always loved the sound of tiny hardware turning in a box!😉... Particularly the boxes from decades past. Great crinkles from that there aged plastic, ma'am.👌 Attached at the hip with my cabinet building father, I spent many hours of my childhood at "Handy Dans" - long before big box stores. The kind of hardware store where nails and screws were weighed by the scoop, then bagged for carry out. Those dense paper bags gave some warm fuzzy quality crinkles too.🤗💞 When we got back to the shop, it was my job to empty the bags into his hand built wooden hardware drawers... ✨another bit-o ear candy✨ PS:. Liked those moments with your soft taps and traces on the card board box too.✨😘

Oh yes, old hardware store memories! We had one down the street from our house when I was a kid. High pressed tin ceilings, a wall of little drawers filled with hardware and seeds by the pound and a rolling ladder to reach them all, squeaky wooden floors 💗💗💗. The windows in our old house were original wavy glass with bubbles. When we broke a pane (which was an unfortunate frequent occurrence) my Dad would walk down to Hibbard's Hardware and they would sell him matching antique glass from the old stock that was stored in the old ballroom upstairs. I miss that place so much! I wonder if there are any of these little gems left? Do you have any in your part of the world?

@@artifactasmr6834 ...as locals always named their stores for the family name back then?...not surprised... Still,, the coinenkeedink is another warm fuzzy.😉
