I always despised reading growing up, but over the last I year have grown to enjoy it as a hobby of mine. However, I can only read 1-2 books a month depending on length. Boggles my mind that people can read this many books in a single month. 🤯 Enjoying your content!

I’m so so excited to see this channel grow even more in 2024! ❤ I read The Foxglove King earlier this year and I think I rated it 3.5 stars as well, it wasn’t bad just forgettable and like you said really lacking in the romance for me, especially for an “enemies to lovers” romantasy. I’ve got A December to Remember on my TBR (my TBR is 5,180 books long though so don’t know when we’ll get to it 😂), you’ve made me really excited to read it! Know My Name is a priority for me this year. I’m a SA survivor myself and I didn’t even report it to the police because of the way women who report it are treated and I was just so traumatised right after it happened it didn’t even occur to me to go to a hospital or anything. I’m very open about it in terms of the fact that it happened (I don’t go into detail because the guy who did it is someone I still see around regularly but have no contact with) because I want to empower other women to do what I couldn’t and to speak up. I’ve not heard anyone I follow talk about In the Lives of Puppets so I was so glad to see it featured in this video! I was lucky enough to get the cute Waterstones sprayed edges edition 😍 T.J. Klune has such an incredible imagination, his writing and characters always take me back to my Lemony Snicket and A Series of Unfortunate Events days. Yep Tessa Bailey will keep you up until the early hours to finish her books, I always get hooked and “one more chapter” goes out the window really 😂 It Happened One Summer by her is one of my favourite romance books of all time and one of my most annotated. I laughed, I cried, I kicked my feet, I love it so much. Melody and Beat though…my husband has no right to disregard my baby name ideas now 😂 Sadie has been on my TBR for the longest time but I only managed to get a copy last year (2023) so it’s on my TBR cart ready to go…whenever I get to it 😂 I’ve heard so many mixed reviews about it, people either love it or hate it but I have a good feeling about it. I’m so glad you’re enjoying the Chestnut Springs series! 😍😍 That’s all for today’s essay, if only I could have churned out this many words when I needed to write essays at school 😂 ❤❤❤❤
