@@milkyloser5371 well it’s also kinda insulting to say “everything you do is perfect!”, because that undermines the effort and skill involved in finding the sweet spot of the trigger. I do agree it’s a little awkward to read “even when they don’t sound good”, but i think if i was a creator and read that comment i would really appreciate the authenticity involved. A compliment with a realistic twist means the compliment has to be real From my perspective the comment is saying “i like it when you try new things, for the sake of experimenting, instead of just using triggers that you know sound good, IN PURSUIT of finding new triggers and sounds.” it’s “backhanded” if you expect the comment to be 100% praise but a real backhanded comment would be something like “wow, i’m impressed someone *like you* could do ASMR this well”

I just want to say that I really appreciate you being honest with us about a small part of your mental health. I also struggle with depression, and it simply fills me with joy, inspiration, motivation even to hear you feel that you are doing better and in a better place mentally. I don't make comments hardly on any video I watch, from all creators I watch, but your ramble at the end really touched me and reminded me to keep my head up, keep trying. So I typically listen to asmr when playing relaxing games like minecraft, for example right now, but I wanted to watch this video for a bit. When you were "pressing" the energy around the mic was a huge visual trigger for me. Visual triggers aren't a thing for me but something about the energy "pressing" was dope.
