the dark lighting is so nice. so many asmr creators are using bright ring lights and LED lights that are so harsh and bright even when my screen brightness is all the way down. i feel like it defeats the purpose of trying to use asmr for sleep :/

@@XOChristianaNicole yeah i’ve had to stop watching some peoples content because they are so bright that even when i have my eyes closed i can still see the light from my screen. and since i don’t use headphones when i’m trying to sleep, i can’t just put my phone face-down because it blocks the front speaker :(

I've had that issue, but I found this app that makes the screen dim more than what you normally can with just bringing the brightness slider down. It's on android. I'm not sure about apple, but it's called night screen, and it has an owl on it. Hope this helps!

@@jakefromstatefarm2849 apple does have something similar and i’ve used it before but it tends to make everything really unclear on the screen :/ the contrast goes way down and it’s hard to even read things

on my iphone i use the "reduce white point" that can be found in accessibility settings to make things dimmer!
