As someone who has struggled with trichotillomania I SOOOO appreciate how much you’ve handled this subject with care!!! Trich is obviously different from alopecia, but the hair loss sentiment is very similar. I’ve had a lot of negative comments/experiences/etc associated with my past hair loss, so ngl I’m a lil emotional watching how lovely you are in this :,,,,)

This was wonderful, and the perfect way to wind down after being in a hot office all day ‘driving a desk.’ The consultation was so detailed, yet I picked up the delightful sound of the pen gliding across the paper as you took patient notes. This is a great auditory trigger for me which delivers a guaranteed tingle hit. What I particularly enjoyed though was the thorough hair and scalp examination. The sounds and movement were so satisfying to take in, especially the combing. Right from my early years the sound of hair combing, cutting it or watching someone else having their hair examined has always set my senses tingling and it something I enjoyed this evening. Lots of lovely personal attention which really gave a relaxed feel to everything, along with such a positive feel to the consultation, you were so supportive toward the patient throughout this. This has helped me to wind down ahead of a good night’s sleep, if that’s possible in this heat. I appreciate the time you have put into the creation of your latest video which was so engaging and super tingly for me. Enjoy the rest of the week.🙂🌠

I understand it’s not everyone’s jam, but I personally love Nicola’s unconventional medical videos. Her gynecology role play really helped me after a sexual assault, and I imagine people can get something similar out of an alopecia video and the like if the topic resonates with them.

I'm just traumatized from TE hair loss that's been going on for a year after stress, and got worse when I recovered from COVID in Feb. I've lost half of my hair volume so far and as I sit here COVID positive for a second time this year, I'm absolutely terrified of having even more hair loss 😭 thank you so much for this video
