To explain a few things as I'm somewhat into MRE's as a concept. The bright packaging is to help in more survival situations as it can be used as a mirror, and it marks it as distinctly humanitarian, not military (as that can be an issue in some locations). Secondly all offerings for the menu need to be compatible with religious and dietary restrictions worldwide hence the somewhat... meh offerings for main components. The sugary/sweet items are a major part of these rations as its easier to convince children to eat than more "adult" foods that while may be better for them, some wont want to touch. anyway, glad to see another video and while i cant donate i figured i could help out by explaining a tiny bit about it!

Lloyd, I wanted to comment on your community post but couldn't because the comments were turned off :( please please ignore the haters that are putting you down and making you discouraged. Trust me when I say these people do not matter and have nothing better to do with their lives than put down people for doing what they love to do. Believe me, 99% of people that watch your videos love them, including me. I watch them to make me focus on working and I think they're great. They may have recently gone down in viewership but dont let that put you off- the more you upload the more people will see your content and start loving it as well. I unfortunately can't support you with money at the moment, but I watch every new video you upload. In regards to background noise, please keep doing the same thing you have been doing and dont change anything, it really satisfies a lot of us and it would suck if you became the same as all the other more professional sounding ASMR because I personally dont like that. Very cool to see another 'MRE' video Lloyd! Love these. Just wanted to say though, some places do refer to beans as peas. i.e, in Jamaica, rice and peas is actually rice and kidney beans, so perhaps that's why the peas in tomatoes didn't have peas.

I actually really like the humanitarian MREs they are all vegetarian too. I have several of those too. The shortbread cookie is the best in those. They mean black eyed peas not green peas. I was surprised too when I opened one expecting peas If things get crazier in the world you mean lol They are already crazy.

Just my 2 cents from observing YT channels and trends; it is hard mentally but youtube is changing and it is getting hard for a lot of people to push their channel, small or big. Thumbnails matter, time of uploading [consistency], hashtags, the title itself, and quality, both in sound recording and stylistically [as people have come to expect better and better things]. KZbin has a knack for not notifying subscribers of an upload, removing subscribers, shadow banning, so on and so forth. Perhaps contact someone who is knowledgeable in this field that can look at your account, your videos, they can help see where the issue is. You do really nice asmr videos and have your own style, I know times are rough, and it can get discouraging. Just have to figure things out. Having all your eggs in one basket for KZbin may just not be viable anymore though... something to consider.

Just a thought lloyd... what if you did some long form 3hr+ vids that would have the chance to keep playing after someone falls asleep in order to get your viewer watch time up? Rather than doing the extra content maybe loop the video into chapters with and without background noise so viewers could choose which they want as well. Or maybe even compile similar roleplays you've done. It'd be worth a shot to have a sleepy subscriber give you hours of play instead of them autoplaying into something else they're passed out to anyway.
