Love your thoughts, about being present, focussing on experiencing sensations in the now and being happy. It becomes a kind of open eye meditation and therefore would similarly have the same benefits as meditating. Perhaps we receive benefits of relaxation from a soothing voice as we may have as infants. Your voice is very relaxing. I had only watched female ASMR artists before but your deeper voice is very nice.....because the female voice (as sweet as they are) sometimes have high pitches which sometimes can snap me out of a relaxed state. LuxuryLemonade "Dumbass?" That sounds pretty defensive. He didn't say he was aroused. Sexual orientation does not = sex. But many ASMR videos ARE inherently intimate, with all the role playing of entering your personal space to "touch" you and whisper into your ears. For some people, the experience is more comfortable and relaxing depending on whether it's a man or a woman doing these things. And yes, sexual orientation CAN influence that preference for those people, which is not the same thing as getting sexual gratification from it.
