So interesting to see what’s considered American food in the UK. As an American, I can say I haven’t eaten 90 percent of those foods once in the last 20 years. Fun to watch, though.

I’m very late here , but somehow just found your t delightful video😂💗. As an American I always find it amusing how we are perceived by other countries, hamburgers, hotdogs, etc. These are common foods grilled during the summer I suppose. Personally I haven’t had a hotdog since I was 5 & don’t care for hamburgers, so I might not be an average food rep for the USA, however I can tell you with certainty that Garett’s cheese popcorn is absolutely delicious!! A must have from our great city - Chicago 👏👏. Try it in a tin with caramel popcorn, plain, kettle corn..yum . I promise, try it and you’ll never want any other corn again😂.

As someone from the USA some of these things are just not good representation of our food. Some are just odd. Some are okay but very strange selections. However Cheddar Popcorn, cheese popcorn in general is always a good choice!

A fish finger sandwich? That's certainly a novel idea. Glad to hear you're feeling better from covid though. May I suggest you try boiling some cedar leaves and inhaling the steam? My roommate made me a cedar infusion when I had symptoms, and it really helped open up my sinuses and treat the cough. He said his tribal elders have been using this method since ancient times.

The cheddar cheese flavored popcorn is extremely popular here and is DELICIOUS! Same thing with corn dogs. They both sound weird but taste amazing.

Someone else mentioned the American section and I have to say, its sadly spot on. The whole world knows we eat like garbage. :/ Pancakes and donuts for breakfast.... yuck! (but typical). Only time I eat pancakes is when I go camping, in which case those shake n' pour pancake mixes come in handy!

I love a posh fish finger sandwich (I haven't honestly had one) but it sounds lovely. I was only in the UK once. It was truly the best fish and chips I have yet to have 💁 sooo I can imagine!... Something in the name, "posh fish finger sandwich"--- sounds very appealing😌☺ in the U.S. fish fingers (fish sticks) aren't considered posh so... 😂or maybe you were being sarcastic hahahaha i would love to see an elevated fish stick sandwich nonetheless

An ordinary (frozen processed) fish finger isn't posh, but fish fingers made by hand with fresh fish and breadcrumbs are delicious (and hence posh!)

Ok so now the flyer raises the question: do Brits not eat pancakes? I never thought of it as an American food (I'm an American ;) ). Also, I must say that the only toppings I've ever seen for pancakes are fruit and maple syrup- the nut spread and fluff seems a bit odd to me? I would agree that the rest of those foods listed under the "American" flavor section are indeed eaten regularly in the US, but Im curious from you which ones you think of as distinctly American. Like, are onion rings not popular in the UK? Is that an American thing? Im fascinated now! :)

Yes, but our pancakes are different. They are large thin things - like French crepes. We have them on pancake day (Shrove Tuesday) with lemon, sugar and other things.

@@LibraryofWhispersASMR i think you do the past videos during storm right? I mean you add the sounds of a storm to your video, the final product is really balance. In the past videos the rain is really more like noise, I'm not trying to criticize you, but you have and amazing calming voice, add a good thunder storm (an audio added in the side of your tsl video) will be perfect

We used to call chewing gum spoggy. With juicy fruits and dentyne being personal favourites back in those halcyon days on the rec. My first proper girlfriend introduced me to orbit chewing gum. Hence my love for her.🥰😂Follow me for more gum related anecdotes 😳👍👍 The chewing gum thing is a surprise asmr trigger for me and you are very good at it. I never ever thought I’d say those words in my life but here wee are 😂😂👍👍 This was simply wonderful x
