To measure ploomf pressure, traditional sphygmomanometers used for measuring blood pressure are unsuitable due to the non-fluid nature of ploomf. We must have implatable ploomf pressure tracking devices. There is also a shortage of the instruments that we need for assessing how much force is required to compress the animal's ploomf. That would provide clinicians with at least an indirect measurement of ploomf pressure.
