Hey Matt is 850ish CAD for 2 bedrooms the norm for rent over there? Just realized how much cheaper that is than where I live and am genuinely thinking about moving to Canada if the rent is 1/3 what it is here since everything is very similar to the US so it wouldn't be a huge culture shift. (It's 2700-3300 CAD rent average for 2 bedroom where I'm at). What do you think?

Nice, Ethan. If you're moving to a place around where I live or moving to a smaller city, $850 would be about average. If you're moving to Toronto or Vancouver the rent would be much higher.

I don't need 2 so I can probably save even more money - this is huge for me because this is thousands of extra dollars a month to put into my business endeavors so I'm genuinely taking this option seriously. Where would you recommend, having lived in Canada yourself for awhile? Instacart/Grubhub/Uber is a must for me since I don't drive.

@@ethanyosh Hi, Ethan. I checked the average price of a 1 bedroom apartment in Winnipeg and it said about $1000.00. It said the average price in Regina is about $1000.00 as well. So it might be higher than I what I had said, sorry. I've lived in both cities. But I did find a 1 bedroom for rent in Winnipeg for $770. Both cities would have taxis but I don't know if they have Uber.

I've never used kijiji before so that's another resource you've helped me discover (I use zillow).
