I'm from NZ in a city where secondhand clothing is really trendy. When I visit family in LA they stick their noses up to it, they won't tell me where the thift stores are and will show repulsion to the treasures i find, it is hilarious. I really don't admire that consumer culture there which almost sees the more waste you produce, the more status currency you have. People need to be real, they are perfectly fine with sharing bedsheets with strangers at hotels and there are more pathogens on handrails and their phones than washed secondhand clothing.

I love going to Thrift Stores and Goodwill now. You really made me realize so much. Stores that go out of business or close, will donate clothes there. I actually got 12 brand new LIz claiborne's summer tops, adorable for $4.50 each! I would never pay full price for them but they are great shirts.

if you ever go to the thrift store and see like a black top that's kinda grunge looking or vintage, definitely pick it up and label it "vintage grunge oversized shirt" i cannot tell you how many shirts i look for like that. especially if you look on the teens hauls, you can find some really nice purchases from that. and always look up the brand! that bumps up the price by a long shot.

I love your asmr whisper and soft spoken, where most voices are too jarring for me. Also you are so natural and friendly, a lot of other ASMRtists bother me because they are so self-conscious and contrived. I am fairly new to watching asmr and I am pretty picky about the creepy factor. Hooked on your videos because you truly seem to be just a regular person relaxing with hobbies and chatting quietly with a friend. Sometimes with these thrifting- related ones I have to promise myself I will watch again in the morning so I can sleep, because I don't want to miss out!

Hi, If you ever get a shirt like that again, and your afraid to put it in the wash in case you would lose the quality of the collar you can get Robins collar starch, now you would have to go looking for it but it's good to starch your collar or a swallow tail shirt.
