The only important water bottle technology in our household is whether or not the lock opens in my kid's backpack. What they need to invent is technology that makes it impossible to lose. That one I'd buy. I do like the pillow thing - your link doesn't work - but US$50 seems a tad punchy. I'll ask the wife if she wants one. She flies for a living.

I found similar pillows on Taobao, I live in HK, for ¥30. Get your folks to gives yours back and just buy off Taobao.
