Don’t drop college for KZbin focus on the long run. KZbin is temporary your degree is for your whole life PS love ur vids
@TheKingOfTrolling5 жыл бұрын
Well seeing how he will likely never use his degree from college, it would benefit him to focus on something else. Only 23% of college graduates even use their degree, the other 73% went to college for no reason. The 23% are mainly made up of Engineers and Doctors. The 73% are now working a job that had nothing to do with their major. Trade school would be the safest option while college would be riskier than KZbin.
@ImJerkBoii5 жыл бұрын
@@TheKingOfTrolling The jobs they got though likely still required a college degree. That statistic underestimates all the shit people learn in college that isnt related to their specific major as well as what I implied before, having a college degree in general. Of course, some are better than others for getting jobs, but college grads still have half the unemployment rate of high school grads; and they earn significantly more over a lifetime. And society is moving more and more toward college degrees. If your only care in life is fiscal security, then there are less risky options, but KZbin isnt one of them. It's become harder and harder to make a decent living on KZbin unless you are a specific type of person or you follow trends (which are risky and finite by definition). Ultimately it's up to him though. It's his life. But people should make informed decisions.

You either have a chance to have a boring life or an exciting life... i would pick the exciting life do something different from everyone else
@TheKingOfTrolling5 жыл бұрын
73% of all college gradates never use their degree. College definitely isn't all that it's made up to be. However, trade is still booming (obviously). Unless you want to be an Engineer or Doctor in which case college is great. Alex will likely never use the degree he is going to school for. In this case it would benefit him to not go to college and focus on something else that he is passionate about. Going to college just because everyone says you need to isn't a good reason to go. If he was passionate about doing something that required college then it would be worth it even with the low chance of him achieving it. Now that's being realistic.

@TheKingOfTrolling5 жыл бұрын
College would be riskier than KZbin. It's pretty easy to make a career off of KZbin as long as you're not an asshole or ugly. If you fit a niche it would be harder though. Alex's biggest problem would be his arrogance. If anything ruins his chance on KZbin it would be his own words. College would be almost certainly a waste of time for him seeing how getting a job related to his major would be like tossing a 100 sided die and hoping it landed on a number less than 6 (get it? lol).

Alex listen, your college education, well being, and educational future are so much more important than helping people sleep, no shade towards artists. Finish your senior year, readjust, and attend grad school. You can still post in your free time, and on breaks. Always value knowledge before extreme aspirations. If your channel blows up during grad school, then pursue ASMR, until then, do the right thing, don't take a leap of faith into an unknown world. Keep it 💯💯💯.

Chase whatever you are truly passionate about. And don’t ever give up. But you have to smart about it at the same time. You said you’re going into your senior year, that gives you roundabout a year to grind it out and see how big you can grow your name. If you’re not in a sufficient position to support yourself with KZbin alone then I’d consider school.
