The way you start at the top and work your way down while painting and speaking softly reminds me of Mr. Bob Ross. I’m sure you hear that often, but it is quite a compliment to you. Well done! Your painting style is all your own, and it’s beautiful. The sound of painting on wood is icing on the cake!

Glad to hear your endorsement of the acrylic paints. I bought a similar set the other day, though I haven't yet had the courage to try painting. I can draw, and I've done a few "paintings" using a computer program, but I haven't actually attempted painting since I was in high school (which has been a while). My skills then were tragicomic at best. I really enjoyed this painting though, and your narration is always fun :-)

21:09 the rambling and even more so the repetitions are half the fun - imagine Bob Ross happy little clouds, trees etc. stream of consciousness... - I do it all the time in your comment section ;-) The red vertical things are called Sprites - they tend to be high above the cloud layer, but well beneath the Northern lights. Greenish is from ionized oxygen, pinkish from ionized nitrogen; guess the energy level of the incoming solar wind has to be in the right range for it to happen.

If you turn it lengthwise and keep the paint very slightly transparent like you have, you could incorporate the grains of wood into the aurora borealis and it would look mind blowingly cool 💫 Edit; you'd probably have to spend another hour on it, like, a whole one, like almost your whole life practically, I mean, can you even imagine??? Itd be like SUCH a commitment or whatever, so, like ugh nm 😁

Fine Touch/Master's Touch is crap. However I understand that's what some people can afford-- buuuuut if you want to use real good paints and wood panels and canvases, and BRUSHES for that matter, I would suggest top brands that aren't extremely expensive but are still quality-- Winsor Newton paints, Dick Blick wood panels, Filbert brushes to name a few.
