I'm a patent paralegal, and that's very different from, say, a litigation paralegal. Also, I work 100% remotely and never have to deal with any clients. I also don't have to deal with anybody face-to-face. It's all done by phone and email. I work with only one attorney. That is how I manage to stay so light hearted! Otherwise, there's no way!

I also have been working from home, and this has helped a lot, but even so. I work for three lawyers and they are so busy they barely have time to form any kind of relationship with me! My experience is that if that's happening, and they're not based in the US, it's almost impossible to force them to stop unless you want to spend a ton of money on an attorney in the country where the company is based. Thanks for letting me know, though.
