Are you recording with your new mic? Sound seems really compressed and / or distorted. Might wanna check your settings either when recording or when exporting after cutting. Exporting at a higher audio quality or higher Bitrate in general might help. Great and interesting video though!

Nah this was an old recording I have been trying to salvage for a long time. It was with an older mic and there was a ton of white noise and other things to edit out. Fiddled with a lot of settings to get most of it out but it also hurt the audio quality some inevitably. Just happy to get it into a listenable state XD
