When he said he had a vile of our blood I swear I just screamed "YOU DID NOT YOU BITCH..." I am truly scared because man, Thalvich is mad, like, crazy mad, but it is amazing , when not being his "loved one" then I don't feel so suffocated by him. It's a completely new experience, and it feels damn great to have him as an ally (don't get me wrong, I am extra worried about Jackal and the other us). I find the adding of this apprentice something that can be called a "Variant" on the cycle, could it be that everyone will have a happy ending? Thalvich stays with his apprentice finding new love, Jackal keeps his mage, no one has to die or be enslaved, life is great. . . . Nah, admit it Hollow, you like to see us suffering. We will still squirm because of Thalvich and Jackal and honestly everyone involved in this line, things wouldn't be solved so easily

Anyone else think of the pyromancers spark? It’s hemopyromancy so obviously there’s the fire element of magic which we already know Spark is really good at. Okay, but am I the only one who thinks he's mixed up love with infatuation or obsession? Because the feeling's he has for his "love" seems to resemble an adoration based obsession rather than love. Meanwhile, the bond he has with his new apprentice seems to hold more actual love. Wether it's romantic or not, it's still love. ~Spoilers~ Not only does he treat the apprentice like more of a person and give them basic freedoms, but he was also willing to let them make an educated decision of wether to accept or deny his offer for immortality (unlike his "beloved," who he manipulated before trapping them and forcing them to do what he wanted).
