As someone 13 years deep into dnd I adore hearing about other people's characters and the weird shared hallucinations they have with their friends. I have absolutely zero idea about D&D. Never been interested in finding out about it. But wow... this video was so good. Gibi I could hear you talk about this for hours. I would love to hear more! All of the characters sound incredible! I love your character's backstory and the hints of 'divine' influence (I guess?). I love the thiramin story. It reminds me of danmei storyline and characters! Anyway, I think it's safe to say that I'm now super interested in D&D and am sitting here thinking who my character would be. I'd love to play as an elderly peasant lady who is very wise in the ways of the world, brought up a large family and struggled financially, but then one day she somehow gets cursed and goes on a quest to break said curse and is really done with everyone's nonsense lol. Heavily inspired by Sophie from Howl's Moving Castle, of course.

Have really come to appreciate your videos as a way to relax and relieve my tinnitus symptoms, and then this video pops up to tie into my long history with the D&D game :) Started playing in school way back in 1979, stopped playing when I got married, and then started playing again when my (then) 26-year-old son asked if I would DM for a one-shot for his birthday. Now, five years later, I do a weekly session for my two sons, my daughter-in-law, and three of their friends. Love hearing about other people's D&D stories :) And I'd love to hear how your Curse of Strahd campaign went (or is going) - - I DM'd that back in the mid-80s, and that is the current 5e campaign I'm running for our group 40 years later! Thanks again for all of your ASMR work - - the videos help me relax and get through some tough nights dealing with tinnitus.

This is cracking me up because I’ve toyed with the idea of making an asmr channel of my own for so long, and I’ve always thought, “man I could just talk about dnd for hours… 😈” but legitimately, someone talking enthusiastically about something they’re passionate about, in a soft voice, full of cozy vibes, is SO relaxing and fun. It’s my favorite way of hanging out with friends, so i love this already, just a few minutes in :3 Edit: also omg. I’ve played a wizard for the last 6 (!!) years, in a campaign that’s wrapping up now. We went from level 1-20 and I even have TWO epic boons lol (two ninth level spell slots babey!!!!!). If you can play up to level 20, you absolutely should; it’s so so so fun, and you get so connected to all the characters on the journey. I hope you get there!!! edit 2 electric boogaloo: omg please tell us about this new campaign and character too!!! i normally crash during asmr but this had me riveted lol, i’m so glad you’re having fun!! :’)

As someone who has played D&D for a long time I 100% understand the urge to talk about your characters, their development or your campaign. When you're in the middle of an arc or something awesome happens during a session it's like you just watched an amazing movie or read a great book. You just want to talk about it. The weirdest thing I've found is that there's only three to five other people who can really understand & share that same feeling, because they were there & experienced it with you. For everyone else it's almost like trying to explain a dream you had.

Ugh, I love a good lore dump, it’s so wild I’ve been playing dnd for over 20 years now and there are SO few opportunities to actually CREATE your own lore and SHARE it. Like when you build a character you absolutely love you can’t really just lore drop on the people you’re partying with cuz it should be naturally uncovered the longer you play together BUT you also can’t really just start going ham about your character to people you dont either play with so there isn’t like, a healthy venue where you can discus the things you think are cool about the character you made you know? Loved this, I love when someone takes something they’ve made and makes it cannon, so fun, I hope you do more of these!

You did so well explaining DnD shortly. I'm a DM myself since april 2021, and we still play the same campaign we started with. It's called 'The Divine Ten - Secrets of the Past' or short 'The Divine Ten' (since we're a german speaking group it's actually called 'Die Göttlichen Zehn') and although we're not streaming, we are doing a text based actual play blog on Instagram, which finds its appreciation. I started the campaign based on the adventure mentioned in this video (Lost Mines of Phandelver), but since as a DM you are free to homebrew any rules, plots and so on, I did that a lot, so our campaign became something no one would ever find in books, because I made it our own by using tons of lore from almost anywhere. It is as epic and funny as possible and after 37 sessions (all around 4 to 9 hours) there still is no end in sight. Love it. So, Gibi, please tell us more about your campaign. Much love.

D&D is so underrated and unknown I loved to listen to your journey or the creation of your character. I play the 3.5 version of d&d and it’s one of the most developed and complex version. It’s thus, important to develop a good background story. It was soooo cozy!

...I may or may not have watched this video 4 times in a row now. I beg you, PLEASE make more of these cozy rambles about your D&D character(s)!! It's soo fun and your lore is really good?? I love their design as well, I saw one artwork of them on Twitter the other day. As an artist myself, I must say, chef's kiss! 👌 💕 One of my favorite videos from you. Would love to hang out and listen to your rambles again. c:

After watching this, I realized I would watch literal hours of you just retelling the stories of your campaigns. It would be so good.

Now this is what we want to see from you Gibi. That's what makes you so entertaining, you just put a piece of you into your videos, you really seem real through the screen. I would love to hear more about Barathir and his adventures, really fun stuff you were saying.
