When I was a kid, I used to get so mesmerized and relaxed watching people do things like paint, draw, turn pages, slowly fix things. They had to kind of be in their own world for it to work for me. I literally thought I was the only person and had NO idea there was a term for this. Thank you so much for all the content you create.

I used to watch Rosie and Jim (don’t know if you’d be too young for this lol) and on the intro they drew a canal with two pens simultaneously (so two wavy lines basically) and then I think moved a cut out of a boat down it - my first ASMR experience 😂

Same here. As a child, I loved watching skilled people make complex tasks look easy. Carpenters, electricians, chefs, etc. This was perfect and I spent the whole video in a state of single-pointed focus. Huge tingles all over.

There’s a lack of cultural understanding here - this therapist is not trying to change her actual bones she’s simply reshaping the soft tissue which can get pulled into certain formations through muscle tension and habitual facial expressions. It also helps drain the lymph and stimulate blood circulation. It’s a good way of avoiding lines like frown lines which form when your facial muscles get stuck in certain positions from habit and use. Regular facial massage as well as exercises can really help avoid lines.
@katens2002
@katens2002 Ай бұрын
She's absolutely claiming to be restructuring her bones. And even the soft tissue can't be reshaped enough to change your facial structure.
@Ali-Bea
@Ali-Bea Ай бұрын
@@katens2002 Soft tissue can be manipulated to change the contours of the face which can make features look more even. Muscles can also be built up (with exercise) or atrophied (with Botox) to change the face shape considerably.
@sparpie
@sparpie 3 күн бұрын
@@Ali-Beayou cannot reshape the soft tissues by massage or manual manipulation. It’s a nice massage. It does not do any of the other stuff that is claimed-you can’t “drain” lymph, or anything else. Zero basis in science.

Sleeping on ur side has absolutely nothing to do having unsymmetrical cheekbones. If they were unsymmetrical then that do to an injury medical condition or just simple genetics. The cheekbone is a solid part of the skull and is not malleable in the slightest and would not be deformed from sleeping on ur side

I never understood why anyone buys chiropractors. With even the smallest bit of knowledge of anatomy you’d debunk it. I’m cool with people spending their money on it if they know they are just getting temporary relief from the popping of the gas bubbles in the joints but most of the time they are getting scammed

how is there no doctor in the comments, saying that this is total bullshit and u can not reshape bones by hand? XD

Because its a massage technique, the bones look more even aka “move” because the muscles around them are loosened up. It’s pretty easy to use google and look it up before commenting.
