you seriously deserve more attention, chess and asmr is such a perfect pairing and your videos are so high quality, I think consistency is just holding you back!
@ASMRChess3 жыл бұрын
how is consistency holding me back? Because I'm not consistent enough? My goal for 2021 is to publish a video roughly every 5 days for the entire year. Hopefully (fingers crossed!) the channel will then have grown to a point where it can support my financially a bit, so I can justify continuing making new videos forever. But I will keep it up at least througout 2021.

@@ASMRChess if you manage to upload more, even at the expenditure of the length of your videos but not so much sacrificing quality, I guarantee you'll see more growth in accordance of the algorithms on KZbin. I believe it favours this behaviour more.
@ASMRChess3 жыл бұрын
@@PROofHAPPYWHEELS I'm sure you are right. KZbin lives off ads and since I only play 1 ad in every video they would rather have me post 4 short videos instead of 1 long. Ideally I think they'd have me post many long videos with ads like every 10 minutes - but that just won't do for ASMR. My goal is to consistenly upload about every 5 days for the rest of 2021 and see where that takes me.

This is an excellent concept but haven't we seen these games before on your channel? I would suggest raiding agadmator's back catalog if you need some good suggestions lol. I'm a big fan of his channel too but the problem is he goes thru the games so fast beginners often have a hard time keeping up, whereas I like that you take a much more relaxed pace here. I've been studying chess for 6 months or so now but I wasn't aware of why you can't actually hold onto the pawn in the queens gambit until you make the opening tricks video explaining it, for example. Thx for that lol

I showed these games here because they are the ones I had memorized at the time. It would be hard to memorize 6 new games for a single video. I am a big fan of chess history and I have at least 100 videos about historic games I'd like to make when time permits. I just have to be practical about it.
