This channel has pretty quickly become my favorite KZbin, and by obvious extension, ASMR channel. You’re very good at explaining ideas as well as keeping the video relaxing. I cannot explain how much easier it is to internalize information when it’s presented in such a calm and slower paced manner. Always looking forward to your videos, and constantly going back to watching old videos again and again and again. Thank you so much for your content, it’s very much appreciated!

at 18:39 its actually a lot better to capture the pawn on c6 instead pf the knight because that triple forks the knight, the rook and the king (winning the rook after forced Qd7) and picks up a bonus pawn

I really like that you don’t cut out the bloopers (e.g when you knocked over the pawn and did the wrong moves for the Budapest Gambit). They do make me laugh and add to the enjoyment of the video 😂

Love this so much! One unsolicited idea suggestion I have for you, is to do an alternate cut with the Purling London board for certain impactful moves (if you feel like it), as I've seen comments that loved the sound of that chess set. I prefer the wooden set as I grew up with one almost identical to yours, but a few random cuts with the other ceramic set could add a lot of flavor and get the best of both worlds. Amazing content! Happy to be a patreon supporter and so glad you are gaining more well deserved recognition. You will reach 1 million!

I love the tutorials. I'm glad they are on the wooden set because It's easier to comprehend, but I love the sounds of the Purling London set. I would love for that to make a return sometime soon.

I would really love it if you made a video of the Polish Opening and the Black Lion, since those are my favorite openings since they are wacky and fun! Also love the immortal games and famous games from history! I’m a huge Fischer fan and also a Philidor fan. But one most people don’t know is Alexey Sokolsky. The queen's gambit is also my favorite and best opening so my tip is for people wanting to learn it is: know the ragozin, modern and semi Tarrasch variations as they're very common responses. I recommend going for the solid lines rather than the aggressive and tactical lines to build confidence and fundamental knowledge of the opening. Also knowing the catalan system can be useful against 1. D4 Nf6

At 18:40, isn’t it better to capture the pawn first, then when the queen blocks the check, you capture the rook and when the queen blocks the check again you go back to c6 and then capture the knight? Qxc6+ Qd7 Qxa8+ Qd8 Qc6+ Qd7 Qxa6

@ASMR Chess Hello!! Truly loving your videos. I am learning so much from them. I have a move that black plays and that I have been noticing with white while playing the Queen's Gambit: when I play d4, they play d5, then c4, and then they play queen d3. I think it is a bad move but I had a lot of trouble dealing with it because they always had some tricks that won them material. Do you think you can cover this move in your part 2? Thank you so much!! Keep up the good work :)

I’ve been playing this queens gambit system for a few days with great success in 5 minute online blitz. My question would be regarding which attacking patterns can be employed for aggressive movements towards the castled black king. I’ve found great success so far with shoving protected white square bishops onto the H7 pawns. Would this be the main line? Thanks Asmrchess!!
