#favourite hearing your voice in all of your videos are the most calming and it makes me feel like the world is in peace one of my favorite videos was the 10 hr bundle videos i like how they all made me feel sleepy and very relaxed and I love how you spend your time on map drawings and just all the videos you do, you dont rush through any of them you take your time talking about one topic and you are very patient with everything you do. Congratulations Jay! I remember discovering Asmrctica in 2016 during the hiatus you took after the europe drawing video, while I was in 7th grade. It drew me in because I have always been a fan of geography and history, that combined with your informal and genuine attitude while recording made it a very comforting place for me to visit when I was in need of sleep/relaxing. I have been keeping up with the channel every since, watching your comeback from the hiatus, the nature videos on the island, celebrating 8k subs with the smiling globe, the collabs with Indie and Lets Find out, Portugal videos, writing down names of subscribers in the wild (mine is there by the way)! Noticing you stopped enumerating thumbnails after #50, and being super happy you made a two part video (three counting the non listed bossa nova one) about my homecountry Brazil. And much more moments, too many to list in this comment, that I remember fondly. I am now in my 2nd semester in college, and cant help but to feel very happy and proud for you, who has, in a way, been with me while growing up, supporting always when needed. Congratulations again! The next milestones are just a matter of time, your effort and talent were and will always be present. You deserve it!

My #favourite video of yours is where you had drawn the map of Westeros. This was the first video I saw of yours and prior to watching it I had never experienced anything from ASMR. However, during the video I found your voice, the artwork and the talking very soothing and relaxing., eventually using it as an aid to help with my insomnia. This then branched my interest into more ASMR channels but I owe my love of this content to you. That is why it’s my favourite. I remember finding your world map drawing from memory back in 2016. I ended up watching it at least 50 times in the past 7 years and still find myself going back to it if i need to relax. That was my introduction to your work, but easily my #favorite video of yours, apart from any of your drawing videos, is the tile tracing you did as an introduction to your patreon. ASMR in public like that was relatively new and the mix between lo-fi and quality sounds was so special at the time. Thank you for the years of great content.

My #favorite video of yours must be the Instagram compilation or the ASMR Outdoors video with the 3D imprints. The Instagram video is great because of the lo-fi feel of it. Maybe it's the aspect ratio? Especially the start of it is really good and one of my go-to videos for ASMR. The ASMR Outdoors video just feels like we're walking around a forest with you and has such a nice feel to it. You searching for different materials in the forest is very relaxing and afterwards using the 3D imprint thingamajig with the sounds of nature playing in the background is just incredible. For my #favorite I’d have to go with either of the railway rambles here, since I don’t think i’ve ever made it through more than 10 minutes of either conscious. they just knock me out so quickly. it’s also nice that they’re on spotify so I can have my phone off listening to them, and that they’re in the podcast section so I can avoid midroll ads. odd thing is that I don’t get tingles from asmr, but it still helps to put me to sleep and relax me, and nobody even comes close to your level in that regard. thank you so much for all the good nights of sleep you have given me ever since I discovered you a couple years back.

I think my #favorite video of yours is a very close race between two different globe videos: the globe of Mars and the astronomical globe with Orpheus and Eurydice. Both combine a super interesting topic that I already love, in space exploration or Greek mythology, with an amazingly satisfying trigger. The sound of your pointed tracing out shapes on a globe is incredible!! If I had to pick a winner between the two, the Orpheus and Eurydice video reminded me of how much I love the original myth, and really helped reignite my love of mythology and storytelling, so I'd probably choose it. The Mars video is still probably my most watched, though. Every video you make is wonderful, and to this day your the only ASMRtist I never skip an upload from.

ASMRctica ASMR is one of the most underrated amsrtists to exist, unfortunately the algorithm doesnt like this man but his voice is amazing. It takes alot of skill and preparation to do the kinds of videos that he does. He is a master of his craft. pajama rambles were a good series, the book tapping is incomparable to anyone elses book tapping and you cant forget about that iconic intro thats up there with the likes of zeitgeist. I found your videos in the recommended whilst watching the ASMRnerd. I can’t remember the exact first video but I remember quickly finding the Tamriel map video. I must say that this is my #favourite and one that I have watched multiple times. The Elder Scrolls is my favourite video game series and Tamriel is my favourite fictional world. I loved the mostly simple pen choices which seemed to fit the feeling of the world (pencil, fountain pen, calligraphy/dip pen). Fountain pens and dip pens give me lots of tingles so that video is almost perfect for me

I've read a couple of comments in the past about that video, which say it has something extra, and I have tried to figure out what it is. Maybe it's very relaxed and I hadn't prepared so much, not reading so many facts, and not trying to keep a lot in mind before recording. It's interesting to see you call it an ASMR performance, I guess that this aspect could be even more important than the topic itself. I will keep this in mind, and see if I can record a video with the same approach in the future :)

I did a bit of research, so to speak, and it might be as you say that the video is more relaxed which contributes to a bit slower and more drowsy speech which is great for ASMR. Compared to the Migration Period and German Confederation videos, in which you've done research and clearly get more excited about the content which means faster more energetic speech. Now I'm not saying you should be bored while doing videos but maybe some conscious "slowing down" of the delivery can lead to wonderful results 😊 Also please make more videos from that atlas by William R Shepard if you have any interest left in it ❤

I’ll throw my hat into the ring. #favorite. If I had to pick one it would be the Hollow Knight map. HK is a personal favorite to the point I’ve done all the radiant bosses in God Home. Your map video really hit me as a creative way to recreate the map by using subtractive drawing instead of additive. And the choice to use a wide range of vibrant inks under the black crayon not only gave it more pop, but also felt like a pleasing homage to the vibrant art of HK. Honorable mentions to Elden Ring, Breath of the Wild and the astronomy videos.

I still don't really understand them, and sometimes I'll go back to that video to see if I can figure them out. I haven't actually watched the video, but I've listened to it multiple times on Spotify and your speaking is just very relaxing, which I've honestly found to be your favourite videos, the ones where you speak a lot. Interestingly, I've found, that your introductions of your videos, like the bits before you get into the meat of the video, is by far my favourite part. I don't know why, but I've enjoyed them. Navy cartographer and budget projectionist, pilot, always teaching me something, or gone. I have several probable you can see that some one in alaska watch ALOT your videos is me , like the Climate Zones of the World or also one from 2020 or 2019 is around 1 hours about maps of central europe etc , you have the really best production and voice and the best of all the detail of keep the entire recording smooth and quiet recording , other asmr artist some or most do not care of such small details as you that's a huge difference between your videos and others , Thank You so much , now I do not work at night any longer I was 6 years wasting my life working at night , but now I am back on day time and still I sleep with your channel🍻🍺🍰🥧🌮🧀🍕🍟🍻🍺
