This is a great video! I used to work in GIS, specifically using digital elevation models and mapping water (though streams, and not lakes) so I'm all about some maps and some water! I stayed awake longer than I should have just to keep watching. I will say that I fell asleep eventually but was woken up to some very loud ads at the end. Not sure if that was KZbin forcing that, but thought you might want to know. Thanks for the great content!

It was bugging me, but those lake areas are not in meters squared, but in kilometers squared.
@paush516 ай бұрын
This is pretty usual for big lakes and stuff. km2 to m2 is 1:1000000 after all, so it's only logical. Edit: Just came to the m2 part of the video. Now I understand... Weird.

@ASMRctica Жыл бұрын
Hey salam, So happy to hear you enjoy these soft spoken videos where I talk a lot :) Thanks for a super nice comment, and for your support :) Btw, do you mean the actual seconds when I'm zooming in, or the entire part when the image is zoomed in a lot?
@salamueI Жыл бұрын
@@ASMRctica I think both! The actual motion of zooming in/out I think is really nice, but also the camera beeing really zoomed in gives a certain focus to it I think. Maybe the best of both worlds would then be zooming in and staying for a bit and then zooming out and zooming in a bit later again. not sure if other people agree but I really like it :)
