I live in Florida. Tony is telling the 100% truth about how super-casual everything is here. I went to Wendy’s tonight in a Snoopy tee shirt, running shorts that don’t match the shirt, no bra, no shoes, scraggly hair. Been wearing these clothes for 2-3 days (can’t even remember) haha. I’ve been here since 2015, so I’m now lazy as heck unless I need to look decent lol. Oh, and I also keep my house super warm.

As an aside I avoid ironing those kinds of button downs that develop the weird permanent wrinkles over time by pulling the wrinkles straight and just letting them air dry!

In the south we air condition EVERYTHING. I live in Houston and it's the most air conditioned city in the world. I couldn't imagine living here without the AC

I was born in FL and lived there 27 years but I had to leave. I always keep the AC at 68 degrees and was tired of the extreme heat

@@KilluminatiATYBOMG, I lived in Houston for 10 years, and then in Austin/San Marcos for another 10. I consider Texas to be “home,” but it was WAAAAYYYY hotter and FAR more humid than where I live now in Palm Bay, Florida. We always have a nice breeze, and I’ve never seen it get into the mid- or high-90s here. The norm is 80-something - even in summer. It doesn’t get very cold or hot here. Much more stable temps here than in Texas. It also never floods anywhere around here. Texas weather is CRAZY!! I love, love, love Texas, but it definitely prepared me for just about any extreme weather!

@@KilluminatiATYB I have friends in Dallas. It has a lot to offer. Strange, but my favorite experience there was going to a vegan restaurant that was run by monks. I don’t remember the name, but if I lived near there, I would eat there all the time. Really cool people and great atmosphere.

@@KilluminatiATYB Haha yep, Austin is still cool, and Dallas is still uppity lol. Houston is super cool and fun too, although unbearably hot and humid for some people.
