This unlocked a memory from my childhood. I had a puzzle of the us where the pieces were shaped like the states and I’d challenge myself over and over again if I could put it together where the states go from memory. It was my favorite puzzle and I must’ve put it together hundreds of times.

You know, I like the idea of puzzles. they seem relaxing to me but when I try they are frustrating as well. I'm working on a puzzle right now I have to just end up doing trial and error on pieces because I just can't make heads or tails of some of them. I don't know how people put these things together so quickly. It may take me weeks to finally get a puzzle done

I'm the same way when it comes to jigsaw puzzles.

There are strategies to go fast. But honestly my favorite thing is just to unfocus from a single piece and just look over all the pieces. Your brain is a phenomenal pattern-matching machine; as you look at random pieces, your brain will suddenly shout "that piece goes right there in that one area!". Look up some other jigsaw techniques online!
