You can remove the CC part of the lock, it'll make it much easier to clean and then paint that area of the bag. Just unscrew the two screws on the inner side

Lots of work went into making this purse look good. I feel though that the leather inside the chain should have been cleaned and painted as well. At the end, I could see the difference in the the two. The leather inside the chain was obviously not as bad as the purse was before it got painted but it is noticeable afterwards. Other than that, I will watch this video for when I repaint my black purse. Hopefully mine will come out looking this amazing.

Not all chanel bags are matte. You have a lot of classic flaps with shiny finishes.

@@rbguerreiro2466 yes, but the timeless classic in lambskin has got a beautiful natural finish. The shiny, patent, pearlised, metallic classics etc are seasonal pieces. That doesn’t mean that the job of this artisan is not outstanding. ;)

The title of the video should have been HOW TO REPAINT , it's okay but not a professional job. Professional would be to cover the hardware and airbrush the bag with leather dye and finishes , brushes always leave brush strokes and uneven paint/finish, the hardware was not polished , the strap wasn't cleaned and restored, and above all the bag after being washed , it should have a good quality of leather cream or balm. Well you got what you pay
