it's depending on condition and if the marks are transferred into leather, it won't be cleanable. Otherwise you can use a patent cleaner.

the slit in the back was not fixed and you cut at the exact frame where we will see the transformation.

You didn't clean the foot bed. I was also surprised with as bad a shape as the cork soles were that you didn't replace them. It has been done to some of my shoes that needed help . I also get plastic taps on the back of the sole to keep from wearing them down unevenly again. $5 and it adds so much wear to my Birkenstocks
