Facit was the world leading manufacturer of typing machines and mechanical calculators with more than 14,000 employees . The company is a school example of what happens when companies does not continue developing, or adopting change. They were satisfied with their existing products so when Casio and similar Japanese companies came with their modern "electronic" calculators for fraction of the price and with more functions. World leading company Monday and out of business Tuesday. Everything they manufactured were obsolete over a night.

8:28 That's a very handy approx of pi, 355/113. 3.141592, but note the last digit is incorrect. If you continue the expansion, 3.1415926535 the two would round up to 3. Still, a nice approximation that's good to almost one part in a million dividing 2 3 digit numbers is quite useful.
