@@refikaduru_ in the US,Canada, ect they've had wooden toys like this forever. I was born in 2000 and played with ones like this,now my daughters have their own wooden play food and it's crazy how little they've changed.

I have misophonia (literally, 'hatred' of certain sounds). The tapping is exceedingly annoying, and when I hear someone strumming his or her fingers on a hard surface it takes all my will power not to give a dirty look. Strangely, I really like other sounds and those include the slicing of real or toy foods. The Velcro parts of toy vegetables and fruits make the cutting noise sound realistic and there's something mentally satisfying about it, though I never get ASMR 'tingles'. I also like sound effects like sizzling or pepper-grinding, and I would watch a lot more ASMR toy cooking videos if only tapping weren't featured so much. It seems the tapping parts are the most viewed/replayed parts in such content.
