Always love your bookish ASMR ☺️ It's difficult to be in a reading slump, I totally get it. I keep side-eyeing Addie LaRue because the reviews from Booktubers I trust are very mixed. Your copy is gorgeous 😍 These past months I've read quite a few books! I really enjoyed Jurassic Park and The Lost World by Michael Crichton. I wasn't sure if I'd like them, but I was INVESTED. I finally managed to finish Stephenie Meyer's Midnight Sun; read it for nostalgia, felt it did not paint Edward in a good light at all. I also read The Last Wish and Blood of Elves by Andrzej Sapkowski to prepare for the new season of The Witcher on Netflix.
@asmrmayth3 жыл бұрын
I'd probably read Midnight Sun... if I ever read the saga lol. I've never been drawn to it so there'd probably be no nostalgia in my case! On the other hand - I'm always so happy to see Sapkowski's books in other people's wrap-ups. I guess we're all proud of him here

@@needleshooksandbooks1332 oh gosh!!! I must ask - how do you manage to read THAT much?
@needleshooksandbooks13323 жыл бұрын
@@asmrmayth it's a mix of audiobooks, manga, graphic novels, novellas, and novels. I am pretty much either reading or listening to a book all day...listen to books at work and while doing chores or running errands or while I am stitching or crocheting. Always bring a book or my Kindle with me wherever I go in case I have a few minutes to read whatever I have on the go. I dont sleep much...less than 2 hours a night due to a chronic pain condition so I get a lot of extra hours in my day to read at night. The books help me cope with the pain...so I've been reading a lot more for the past year since my condition got worse.
