If you still have his number, you can turn it into your local police for evidence. My father is a retired police officer and a similar situation happened to an elderly couple and the scammer was stupid enough to give them a valid phone number. The number was turned into the police, it was tracked, and the con artist was arrested. I don't know how long ago this happened, but if it was yesterday or yesteryear, it couldn't hurt to turn it in. Hope you stay strong, you deserve way more subscribers!
