I liked where you talked about improv where it fits into the video as an example, the good cop bad cop police interrogation video you did, a car was loud enough in the video and you said that you have a lot of drag racers in the city, while still staying in character 👍 btw men can listen to asmr because they might like it and other examples of male asmr artists you, Matty tingles, JoJo asmr and Dido asmr, good job on covering loads of things as a group with your explanation on each question 👍👍👍

I completely relate to feeling tingle immunity and anxiety from comparing my content to others now that I’ve been making ASMR videos for years now. I rarely watch ASMR to fall asleep anymore as sad as it sounds. I truly think tingle immunity is the worst for the people who actually make ASMR. I will say, Jocie's approach to internet mental health is absolutely PERFECT. Don't pay too much attention to comments, and don't read DM's. oh my god this is late but if u haven’t already fallen in love with her channel or to be honest any of the three of their channels, i cannot recommend them enough. ryan and gibi got me through end of middle and then high school and now college. joslyn is amazing but i discovered her wayyyy later! i love their content. I also love the whole asmr community bc everyone is so happy and positive and supportive of everyone. it’s beautiful. never seen the negative of the asmr community. 1000/10. truly EVERYONE is just sleepy and supportive

In terms of external sounds, I remember Gibi mentioning she was gonna keep the sound of the plane in for a specific video because people said they could never hear it, and while you can hear it in that video, it's one of my favorite parts because it's not a sharp, jarring sound, it's more of a drone then comes in and fades away, it's so nice for me personally and really like makes the experience more grounding.

Ok this made me feel better about watching asmr. I remember when this content first really became a thing on youtube and other platforms. For a long time, and even a little bit now, it was a guilty pleasure type thing for me and was something I hide or never spoke with others about. But recently I’ve met friends that also watch and listen to asmr and it’s made me feel not as bad about it. I still fight with my myself sometimes about how I feel engaging with asmr but this video also helps me feel less guilty about it

I’ve been watching ASMR videos since 2013. I watch them to help me relax & get to sleep as I’m not on any medication for sleeping, but I do have trouble getting to sleep. The soft spoken voice videos help me to relax enough that I’m able to get to sleep much faster then if I we’re just laying in bed doing nothing.

I’m not 😅 but…A lot of people have no idea what it is when I tell them this is what puts me to sleep. I spent years taking sleep meds and I started to rely on them. I didn’t want that so it took me 18 months to figure out what worked for me … AND quit sleep meds cold turkey. It was so hard and ASMR saved me ❤
