I’ve cut my hair that shirt before many times and it grows back healthier if it’s an every time but I haven’t cut it that short in a long time and I won’t do it anymore now because I didn’t like it but just because I want to grow it out even longer than it is now and so I’m gonna go get a haircut but only cut the dead ends off not the length

You just dont talk. However, you have to credit to the small talk over all. Japan is different. I know that the hairdresser I saw, she and I made small talk at first, but as I went to see her more. She and I were catching up on how is your kid, how was the party you said you were going too, did you clean your car yet. We asked each other questions based on our last conversation. She would ask every visit if I had a boyfriend yet haha. Telling me how with my new haircut, it should earn me points. Little did i know she was the shop owner and such a nice lady! I dont love small talk either but it depends on the person. I do prefer silence though.
@samanthadchaney2 жыл бұрын
Hairstylist here! Next time ask you stylist for a silent service, trust me they’ll be so happy to do that for you. I love when my clients don’t want to talk lol I like talking but I equally like focusing on my tasks. I always offer and do have some clients who request it. It’s not mean or awkward, just have to ask.

@@samanthadchaney it is impossible to talk and focus on haircut at the same time. the human brain only takes in one message at a time. the brain will focus more on the talk and less on the cutting naturally. at your next haircut.....ZIP IT.

@@oceanvibes222 Correctly identifying a hair type isn't gatekeeping. It's literally just pointing out a fact? Also someone mentioned it being a perm, so. When people overtype their hair, that causes a lot of issues, including them using products not meant for their hair type and then complaining when it doesn't "work" for them, all the while it was never meant for their hair type. It also pushes those of us with tighter hair textures off the chart. It's actually a serious nuanced issue.

As a hairstylist and a fellow curly haired queen I can say the best products for your curly hair journey will be a diffuser to dry your curls beautifully and a styling foam to tame the frizz but not weigh your hair down and a leave in conditioner. Curls love and need moisture 💜
@baileykinder7322 жыл бұрын
I think your hair would be even curlier if you tried the curly girl method- plopping and not shake-drying it but diffusing it right after the plop. Separating the curls creates frizz

With natural curls that are prone to frizz the best way to have curls is to put in a lot of conditioner and do not comb it after the last rinse, just put leave in things in it and then let it dry naturally. Do not do anything that pulls the curls apart like rubbing it with a towel, combing or blowdrying.

For me, I dont understand when people are so emotional about their hair. I cut mine, I let it grow, cut it short, add layers, add a fringe, grow it out again. I dont get emotional about it at all and my hair doesnt affect my life whatsoever. My hairs frizzy curly too. I guess I cant understand people when they place so much importance on their hair that it affects their life. Unless youre losing hair and going bald, which is understandable.
@ArtemisiaMugwort2 жыл бұрын
I think it might be because of the drastic change, growing hair takes time, being afraid of regretting something that can’t be changed back right away and end up feeling ugly and self conscious. It’s “normal” to feel the need to look good in front of the people you fancy. Some people are also stuck to the things they’re used to because it’s comfortable, they already know how it feels to wear that haircut. Trying something new can be scary. Sometimes the phase of growing it out can look awkward to some. I understand this attachment, I love having pretty hair and it affects my daily life. I can relate to these fears but not that much with hair that it becomes a problem. My sister on the other hand is afraid of cutting her hair despite knowing it’s very damaged at the ends and affects her daily life to the worse. Last time she cut it she thought it ended up to short and felt so bad she didn’t want to cut it ever again. I personally have to let my hair grow out quite a bit bc I can’t afford cutting it regularly, so drastic changes to my hair always feels nice bc I always feel like a new and happy person. I also enjoy having both long and shorter hair. I haven’t been stuck to a hairstyle/length my whole life so I have been able to explore despite anxiety. If I didn’t get bangs in my early teens this probably would be a different story, because I had to learn cutting it myself and exploring different types of bangs to feel satisfied. I used to bleach my hair years ago which made it super frizzy and I would layer it myself bc I wanted that scene look, it wasn’t noticeable that I was the hairdresser (or that was what I thought) but I would never do it now when I have healthier and naturally kind of straight hair, that would be noticeable af and I would be pissed if it didn’t end up “perfect”. To me it would be nice to not care but I was taught early that girls should be whatever pretty is, care about how you look and have trendy hair. I have anxiety disorders that affects my life, so emotional attachment to hair is something that is part of me but also many other people that are not suffering from anxiety.
