Hi Wilson, I have a question on trying to find a glove! I was just wondering when you try on a glove, should the wrist and fingers feel loose or snug, especially for a 2nd baseman? Also, should you pick a size glove that you don't have to tighten the wrist strap right away, only after it has loosened up from being broken in? Thanks!

Miguel Gonzalez Hi Miguel, each player’s preference is different on how a glove should fit, all that matters is how comfortable your hand feels inside the glove. When you first buy a glove, it tends to fit a little more snug on your hand, but as you play with it more it loosens up. If you’re noticing that gloves feel a little big, try our A2000 DP15 or Pedroia Fit A1Ks. They offer a more snug fit.

Hi wilson I have a question. I like using two in the pinkie stall on my wilson gloves but I find that the pocket gets tooooo deep it closed around a softball.. What could I do to still use two in the pinkie but maintain a shallow pocket? Thanks

Vin V. Hi Vin, try keeping a baseball in your glove when you are not using it rather than a softball. This will help keep a more shallow pocket.

There is more excess lace when you make the wrist tighter, because less lacing is needed.

Pedroia is a very superstitious guy and has been using the same glove for many seasons now. The A2000 DP15 had made a few MLB appearances. Other players have worn the glove as well.
