Follow Up: Charged the Powerbank 🔋 to 100% and the battery never got to hot. Powerbanks are always rated by the voltage of their battery, Lithium batteries have an average voltage of 3.7 Volts. The charging voltage must be 5 though so the actual capacity at 5 V is lower. A simple formula to calculate the capacity at 5V is 3.7v * capacity / 5 V. For this powerbank 3,7 * 50.000 / 5 = 37.000 mAh at 5V. So this is normal, a 10.000 mAh powerbank has a capacity of 7400 mAh at 5V. So the interesting question is, is the capacity of 37.000 mAh correct? It should charge most phones with a capacity of 3500 mAh about 10 times. What is your experience?

How about you convert the 3500mah of the phone ? You forgot that the phone has the same 3.7v battery at the mentioned mah...the 3500 mah is at 3.7. So basically at 5v the mah of the phone is 2590....so instead of doing all this 5v conversion, we can directly calculate no of times can be charged by dividing the 50000÷3500. Even though you convert everything into 5 volts the total wattage will be the same as 3.7v. The 37000÷2590 and 50000÷3500 both gives the same value

See the output text on the sticker? It says 5V only, which means this power bank does not support quick charge 3 or 4, and does not support the USB pd (power delivery) standard. Without these technologies supported in the power bank, the charge of devices will be very slow, that's why I would recommend to people NOT to buy this device. Also, a small tip: when you connect a charging cable to the galaxy fold, it should have a notification message about the charging type, and unless it says "fast charging", the charger is crap.

I have been using it as an emergency backup battery just incase I need to charge something, but like you said does not charge the devices very quickly.

I have the exact same power bank & ure using it incorrectly, the USB c port is to charge the power bank & doesn't charge any device , I have charged my phone around 13 to 14 times Samsung A12 5000mah battery

Should this be advertised as 40,000 mAh? You could have tested this by seeing how many times it charges your phone. I think this is a problem with cheap powerbanks - they don't deliver what they say. Major brands are more expensive, but do deliver and have better quality parts for reliability.

The usb-c -port was just input only for charging and worked. I believe the Aliexpress page was updated and says this now.

No is plastic and had this in my car in summers times and has not gone sticky. Has lasted much longer than I thought it would.
