The stiffness of the s&w is what I like the most. They just feel more secure.

Keyless. That’s interesting. Do you have a link to them?

They’re called ASP Ultra Plus handcuffs. You can find them anywhere you get cuffs

@@JEST3R_ thank you! I bought a pair because they’re softer, I think, and during certain periods, I let the kids at a school I work play with them than the stainless steel ones. However, definitely not recommend for work purposes. In handcuffing class via security and when I worked the jails, ASP, isn’t recommended because they break easier and the locking device breaks easily. But for that reason, if being softer, I bought a pair.

@@TheAngrySecurityGuardChannel I’ve been working jail for two years and my ASP’s were some of the most reliable handcuffs I’ve used (and I’ve used a LOT) I’m currently running two S&W M&P keyless double locks simply due to the size difference but the ASP’s never let me down, whether it was riot control or CERT, they handled everything I needed them to

You can’t be a cop if you don’t know the model difference in handcuffs

Us collectors tend to know more than occupational users of handcuffs. Also model 90 is not written on the body of the cuff, so he likely does not know they are model 90 and just assumed "S&W.... Looks nothing special must be an old model 100"

Model 100 has an M and 100 on it. That was your model 90s quit making those in the late 70s early 80s.

Your not a cop fella! I carry Smith and Wesson model 300 hinged and 100 chain. Peerless cuffs sucks! I had a pair. And no FTO would ever let you wear a cuff holder like that! Never I am a police officer 25 years and a FTO to!

Sir, It is standard issue at my department for the last year. New times new cuffs and cases. No issues out of the cuffs in the year of using them. I know the older model asp cuffs had issues but these seem to be good to go.

Peerless cuffs do not suck. Peerless handcuffs have been around since 1914 and still are. Smith & Wesson were the company actually making all of Peerless's handcuffs until the 1950s I think it was at which point S&W started making their own handcuffs and Peerless made their own. I own several S&W, Peerless and ASP and they are all great handcuffs. ASP have more features.
